Canne dont le pommeau en ivoire est sculpté du buste de Marianne. Elle porte une couronne de fleurs et une étoile en son centre, ce qui permet de la dater de la III° République. Son chignon compliqué est ornementé d'un bandeau devant se terminant par deux bouts flottants à l'arrière. Elle porte un collier de perles et une robe drapée sur une épaule, l'autre étant dénudée.
L'étoile est le symbole de l'intelligence, la couronne celui de l'invincibilité de la république modéré, le sein dénudé représente la nourrice et l'émancipation.
Sur un fût en palissandre, ferule en métal.

Ivory Marianne (this one is the symbol of the third republic wich starts in 1870) because it is a beautiful woman wich wears a crown of flowers with in the center a star, symbol of intelligence, the crown means invicibility of a moderate republic, the half nude chest : the nurse who feeds and emancipation.
In France at each goverment changement they change the image of the Marianne symbol.
She wears also a necklace and her dress is draped on one shoulder, the other nude.
Her bun very elaborated is ornated with a headband on the front and finishes with two floating parts in the back.
On a rosewood shaft, metal ferrule.
